I am honoured, that once again I have been asked to run a ‘foot clinic’ in preparation for a great cause. The Shoppers Drug Mart® Weekend to End Women’s Cancers™ benefiting The Campbell Family Institute at The Princess Margaret Hospital is a Weekend people never forget. It’s a Weekend to remember those lives we have lost to breast or gynecologic cancer and a Weekend to celebrate the lives we are saving. This is a Weekend creating hope for every woman’s future.
On Wednesday April 4th I will be speaking to group of 10‘s. A 10 is anyone who is walking the walk in the 2012 Weekend to celebrate 10 years strong, commemorating the monumental decade of difference that has been made for all women.
To help make this weekend go smoothly, and with as little injury as possible, I will be covering topics regarding foot care, footwear, foot injuries, prevention of and general tips in preparation for this event.
Kindly, the New Balance Store, located in the Upper Oakville Shopping Centre, has opened their doors as the venue for this clinic.
Whether, walking or talking every little bit helps, looking forward to an interactive and constructive evening.
