Black Friday adverts always give me cause to think of family gifts for the coming Christmas season. As we get older, we get harder to shop for, and thoughts turn to gifts of comfort and warmth. This year let us help give you some gift ideas.
Our older and retired relatives tend to spend increasing amounts of time indoors during the winter months. The usual socks and slippers of choice give very little support and often are causative factors in arch, heel and general foot pain.
This year, give them the gift of a terrific pair of lightweight, comfortable, stable running shoes….. for indoor use.
The lack of postural support aggravates the symptoms of arthritis in ankles, knees, hips and back. Structural instability increases the likelihood of falls and accidents, all of which can rob your loved ones of their independence, mobility and even their existence. Stable, comfortable footwear is beneficial to everyone who plans on enjoying life into maturity and functioning painlessly in this modern environment.
